Man On Wire
ByI just loved this film. The photography is fantastic but the story is even more amazing. Philippe Petit decided he would walk on a high wire between the two towers after a seeing a picture of them during their construction. They weren’t even built but he just decided he would do the impossible. There are times in the film when he truly does believe it’s impossible but he is determined to finish his dream.
Interestingly, the story is also told of the other people involved in his dream and the effect it had on all of their relationships which makes the film even more fascinating.
Here’s the official trailer. I urge you to watch the whole thing as soon as you get the chance. It is an amazing testament to what is possible when you put your mind to it and to the power of engaging others in your dream.
